We are pleased to welcome Webber and Grinnell for another year of leadership sponsorship at the Blue Ribbon level. Webber and Grinnell traces their roots more than 150 years to 1849, when A.W. Thayer opened an insurance agency on Pleasant Street in Northampton.
Today, Webber and Grinnell does business on North King Street and is one of the largest and most respected insurance agencies in Western Massachusetts. Webber and Grinnell provides home, auto and business insurance to thousands of residents and businesses across the Pioneer Valley.
Bill Grinnell is proud to sponsor the Hot Chocolate Run. He finds the event to be a great match for their employees and their business. Bill is an avid long distance runner, having accomplished many marathons and smaller races in his running career. He thinks the Hot Chocolate Run is special because of the variety of people who participate and the cause that it supports.
“December is usually the time of year when people start to get less active, and the Hot Chocolate Run brings people out to a fun and community-wide event. It’s family-friendly and many of our employees bring their friends and families to the event,” says Bill. “I like that Webber and Grinnell is supporting this important cause and bringing attention to the issues of domestic violence. Being involved in the Hot Chocolate Run is an extension of the way that we help people with our business. I hope that by lending our name to the issue, that it might become easier for people to get the help they need.”
Thank you, Webber and Grinnell for the ways that your company stands in support of survivors of domestic violence and supports the crucial work that Safe Passage does every day.
